I went yesterday to watch the cross country with my daughter and a colleague from work.
Walking round the course, we came across the "Land Rover Experience" exhibition and trailer with several new Land and Range Rovers on show.
To my absolute delight they were giving people a ride on their obstacle course in either a new D3 or a Range Rover Sport. We queued up in excitement for approx 30 minutes and decided on the D3.
I was so excited, when it came to getting in the vehicle, I opened the door and cracked my head on it trying to get in!
Consequently I have a bump the size of a small county on my head, a headache and a bruise appearing rapidly.
Must say though, the experience of being a passenger in the new D3 was awesome, including the 35 degrees climb up and over the top of the Land Rover articulated lorry, and the 30 degrees tilting ramp, my daughter was so scared she thought it was going to tip over.
My head hurts like hell today, but it was worth it!!!!
