burning smell coming from the fuse box

Hi all
Went away to cornwall for a week and my caravan triped out twice at the electric bollard. I thought it was because i had overloaded the ampage as i had all the appliances going. but last weekend it started tripping all the time even with no appliances on at all except the sockets. when it went pop we started having a burning smell coming from the fuse box I know i will have to get an electritian to look at it but any ideas would be appreciated.

If it smells of burning, do NOT try and use it until it is repaired, or more likely replaced.

Hi Damian,
Thankyou for your reply. We are not due to use the caravan until twixmas now - although, the wife did want to go to a xmas market in Dec! I have found a company that go out and service caravans and do electrical repairs, so I will give them a ring.
