On the Chausson Welcome thread in this category, cflatters mentioned buying hose at a garden centre to replace the grey waste drain hose on his van.
That put me in mind to two past purchases of mine:
1. When I wanted a replacement grey drain tap for our Autoquest the "real" ones were expensive and (at the time) awkward to get hold of. Instead I used a tap designed for a garden water butt.
2. When I wanted some flexible 40mm pipe to fit in to the grey outlet on our Burstner (to reach to a drain) I bought 5 metres of pond hose.
For some reason pond hose doesn't attract the premium that inserting the word "motorhome" before "hose" does.
