Buying new compact caravan

Hi,

I'd like to be a first-time-buyer. We have always camped [canvas]. I'd like a VERY Compact Caravan which will sleep 2 [3 at a push] but provides me with a full fridge, cooker & storage.

Any suggestions/recommendations for a NEW COMPACT CARAVAN?

Hello,

Until now I have always camped (use to caravan as a child with mum and dad) however we have just bought our first van its a Jetstream 1st Class (freedom). Amazing, has everything, heater, hot and cold water, cassette toilet, 2 berth (more if use awning?),240v, fridge, hob, grill,. only thing missing is an oven....but then when your use to camping all the above is ace !!!!

enjoy looking

sadly uk makers think big is beautiful - hence 4x4's, high nose weights, high all up weights - but to a number of caravanners small is prefered. pity the makers don't seem to see it. as for an oven; well we are on hoilday and prefer to leave the kitchen at home after all you can live without an oven for a couple of weeks at home and in europe. we prefer the extra storage space.
