BUYING USED AVONDALE?

Hello peeps.I have seen a lot of Avondales on the market for not a lot of money.I suspect this is due to the fact that are no longer in production.We would like a fixed bed model but our finances are limited so these vans seem a bargain buy. Does anyone have any

experience of this marque.We could easily cope with a twin axle but would prefer a large single as there are only two of us but we do like space.Any suggestions or advice gratefully accepted as always.

Hello, we have just sold our Avondale Osprey 2004, a fantastic caravan but we also wanted a fixed bed and have gone for a Coachman VIP. Be aware when looking for fixed bed vans as the size of bed varies enormously. My husband is over 6 ft and some beds are only about 4ft 5in x 6 ft so not suitable at all. Take a tape measure with you when looking.
