Buzzing noise from fusebox

On a recent week away, on the sixth night we started to hear a buzzing noise coming from the fusebox and trip switches. After 10 minutes of isolating different fuses and switches, the buzzing stopped if we switched off the water heater. I left it off overnight and when i switched it on the morning after the buzzing had stopped. We are new to caravanning and unsure if this is a major problem or not, caravan is an 8 month old bailey ranger.

If you are worried take it to a Bailey dealer to check it out, while it is still under waranty. You only have 12 months on fixtures & fittings. It could also be a fire risk.

Hello Lee,

It sounds possible that the charger unit may be at fault.

Contact your seller, as this is where your warranty under the sale of goods acts lies - not the manufacturer.

Graham's response is not quite accurate regarding the time limits on warranty. Under the sale of goods act, the product must be fit for purpose. It does not specify a particular time frame, though the seller's liability diminishes with time over the life of the product.

You may be able to use the manufactures warrantee providing you purchased from new, or if the remainder of the warranty was transferred in the case of a second hand
