Any body visited this site? Any information would be appreciated.

In particular I believe it is close to the town and know from previous visits (without van) that the town can be very busy traffic wise - what is access to the site like?

Any suggestions for alternative sites in the same are also welcomed.

Thanks.

Robert

hi rob, i have been to this site a few times ,the town is a 2 min walk,a co-op store is 1 min walk.the site itself is level ,but grass pitches can be boggy if they get a lot of rain, next to the site is the hammerlands centre ,[a fishing centre worth a look.] access to the site is ok , but you can easly miss the sign, a small bridge into the site is the only prob if you have a long unit,i am going again at easter.

I absolutely love to visit and stay at this site, the entrance has been improved over the years and is adjacent to the small shopping outlet that attracts a lot of tourists in Coaches.

The pub just outside the site is great and the last time I was there the lounge proudly exhibited an enormous sideboard which displayed the largest display of Malt Whiskeys I have ever seen.

Its a grand place to stay awhile and visitor attractions are plenty for you see. I have talked myself into arranging a revisit
