I’m amazed just how many cables we need when we go away.
Firstly of course the hook-up cable, then the cable to charge the sat-nav, the mobile phone, the MP3 player, the charging cable for the camera and video camera, cables for the TV and Freeview box, satellite box, video cables to connect the DVD player to the TV, cable for the mover control (in case the battery fails) Cables to charge the laptop and don’t forget the cable for the kettle and the cable to connect the car battery to the caravan battery (on rallys)
I’m sure I’ve missed at least 5 more.
Life was so much simpler when we had gas mantles !!

how many???? only use the cable to connect the solar panel. Both cameras fully charged before leaving and the children know when the ipods, mobiles and DSs go flat then that's it!!

There just as simple as it used to be.

Cables are quite easy to stow but the associated chargers present more of a problem. Our current collection includes camera battery x2, phone x2, drill (for leg winding) AA/AAA battery charger, laptop, spotlamp/torch, manicure/pedicure thingy, and Kindle. Pre-charging before leaving home is not an option for 3+ month trips.
