Cadac BBQ of caravan gas regulator

I've just unpacked my Cadac BBQ birthday present and it looks a super piece of kit! Reading the instructions it looks as if to run off propane it should have a 37mBar regulator. However I was planning to plug it in to the caravan which is only 30mBar. Anyone have any experience doing this? I wonder if it will get hot enough with less gas going through.

Hi Tim,

I just use a normal regulator bought from my local camping shop, however some of my friends use there bbq gas point on their vans and they have never complained about it not being hot enough as they have cooked roasts on theirs.

cheers

Rob.

Tried it over the weekend plugged in to the caravan and it worked a treat. Not easy to clean the BBQ grill though. I think I will resort to oven cleaner.

Always found it best to wipe clean when still hot then when cooler soak for a few mins,Cillet bang good and cheaper
