Make sure all gas connections are spanner, not finger tight.

Always use plastic bbq tools for turning the food.

If using the reversable griddle, dont have the heat to high.

A well know brand of spray cleaner (the fella on the tv ad SHOUTS really loud LOL) is great for cleaning it.

Great bit of kit the cadac.

hmm i was cleaning mine down the other day when somethung fell off ! :)

if you look down the silver pipe (in effect the pipe that conects the gas jet to the burner) there seams to have been some kind of plastic cone inserted.

Any idea what this is ? if its ok to run without it..and as it seams like mines damaged, where a new one could be purchased ?

confused from sheffield :)

Ours is brand new, never been used and looking down it all you can see is the jet in the bottom of the chrome pipe. Try Riversway for replacement. Hope this helps
