calor lite bottles

a friend has informed me that calor are fighting back against bp by bringing there own version of lite butane to be on the market in march.has anyone heard about it,will we be able to swap our old bottles for them or not?
 
Hi Bear. You heard right. Calor are going to launch their new bottle soon and as I understand it you will be able to swap one for the other. Go to this website - you will get all the info and you can register with them to inform you of updates.

They are only doing the lite bottles in propane.Good thing about the calor is all the fittings remain the same for the present propane bottles so no need to get new connectors and hoses as you would have done with the BP lite,added bonus is the bottles are the same size as well whereas the Bp are bigger and eats into front locker space,im so pleased i waited.
 
I just wonder how many bottles will be available , I hope just not all hype , with ages till there are enough bottles to go round, On the whole a leap forward though. I just wonder why it took so long to solve a known problem, thanks to BP at least for moving the world forward.
