Just got the magazine with the 100 best sites book included. After seeing what they charge at some sites the clubs charges look pretty modest. Still cannot work out who would pay £125 a night at the winner Concierge Camping, whatever the quality. Value for money seems to be a low priority in assessing some of the sites.
Initially I bought a caravan so I was not paying hotel rates per night, don't give a monkies what the site is like £125,00 people must be mugs to pay it,

...........not for me even at £1/night as the site is 320 meters from a fast moving section of the A27 dual carriageway.

Concierge camping, one of the most expencive sites group I have seen, must be full of Buccanneers and Airstreams towed by Range Rovers.

The overhead photos suggest that they are largely twin axle models, but I could not make out what the cars shown were. Disbelief at the top price came top of my reactions, more money than sense came second as you can get bed and breakfast in a basic hotel for less.
