CAMLING AT LE HAVRE

Please can anyone let us know if it is possible to stay overnight in our motorhome at the port of Le Havre. We leave Portsmouth at 15.30 and will therefore not reach Le Havre in time to reach a campsite before they close for the night and need somewhere safe to park overnight. We would welcome any helpful suggestions.
 
Hi Lesley.

As you come out of the terminal at the very first roundabout go round to the last exit (turn left)and you are going towards the P&O offices. About 200 yards along there is a purpose built laybye for overnight stops. You will see a lot of other vans stopping there for the night. There are no facilities other than those available at the P&O offices ie water and toilets.

We have used this laybye a number of times and had no trouble at all.
