camping/caravan site in devon or cornwall

Hi all.
Could anyone give any recommendations for a site in the west country please. It needs to be a site where caravans and tents can pitch together and with a few facilities, preferably pool, bar and kiddy friendly.

Two sites spring to mind in Devon - a big factor in your quest is how much you are willing to pay per night and whether a dog is included in your party?

Beverley Park at Paignton is an all singing/all dancing site and caters for all family needs no matter what the weather there is always something to do. There is also a regular mini bus service from the site to Paignton. The down side to this site is the cost per night - especially peak season.

Widend at Paignton is a family run site but on a much quieter scale although there is a club house there and facilities for youngsters such as pool, table tennis, etc. This site is a very clean well run site and accepts family bookings only.

Both sites are very central for Paignton, Torquay, Brixham, Totnes and Dartmouth. As it is now generally my wife and self we favour Widend as it is far cheaper and quieter for us "older" generation.

Hi,
Hope I'm not too late! We were in Cornwall recently and stayed at Kelynack http://www.kelynackholidays.co.uk/kel-touring.htm which was really nice, secluded but good access and close to St Just and the Minack Theatre (amazing if you like that kind of thing).

I have noticed that several of the recommendations for Devon/ Cornwall are for sites that support Camping Cheques. Do subscribers use these when booking into the UK sites?
