Gary,if you look back over the pages on 'Overseas' you will find this site has come up a few times before.

I have been to this site a few times it is not particularly large, very well shaded pitches most of which have little grass as is normal.Try to get a pitch nearer the 'front ' as these tend to be better, ask for 10amp elec ,they do have it.The site has all the amenities, bar ,takeaway, restaurant, pool complex etc also canoe hire.If you want bread, they sell on site but better go out of entrance turn right to junction, turn right boulangerie on the right (10min walk tops)Visit Chateau Chambord a mile up the road the biggest in france at over 400 rooms and look for the double helix staircase, and visit their observation posts and watch the wild boar etc.Supermarket in the village but big Eleclerc is on the road towards Orleans on the south of the river by Beaugency.Hope that helps, finally English is spoken, friendly staff if you are arriving late phone them and let them know they are usually in the bar and will come and get you sorted.
