Camping cheques site near Claremont Ferand

Will be travelling up to Caen from Beziers next Sunday and am trying to find a site that still accepts CC's near Claremont Ferand. 2 that did now don't. Bit of a pain really, don't think I will use them next year. Can anyone recommend a site close by?
Thanks

I dont know if this site will take CC, but it is an ACSI site and just south of Clermont only 2.5km from the Autoroute A75 that you will probably use enroute to Beziers. Le Clos Auroy, rue de la Nars, Orcet Tel +33 (0)4 738 42697 orcet@wanadoo.fr I have used ACSI since we started camping 6 years ago, and cannot believe that there is a better solution for low cost camping in out of season, the books alone with nearly 3,000 inspected campsites in evert EU country are worth the cost alone

Yes I have acsi and agree with you but got CC's as part of ferry package and have been trying to use them with limited success. Never again tho. Might try and get a refund when I return!

Try emailing the site at Orcet and ask them. Last time I stayed it was run by Dutch people with their usual good English. Or try phoning.

We were the same a few years ago, and had the silver card with about 5 cheques left, which in the end ran out of time, We find they are a waste of time if you are touring a lot, and are unsure as to where you might be.

Stopped the night in Orcet.(thanks Ray) Found a CC site near Tours for the second night and the last night in Pontorson(haliotis). Shall not get CC's in future. Most of the sites are not that good - although only limited experience. The 2 we stayed at on the way down were not great. Haliotis at Pontorson seems to be the exception - a really good site.
Don't know whether it's the weather this year, the European cup or the threat of terrorists but it was very quiet. Did not find any of the sites had restaurants open yet - this the third week in June; some not even had bread yet? Last year the temp on the med near Beziers was 35, this year 25!
