We have not been before but two adults and our dog will be there later this month. We will let you klnow what it is like. The reports and a look on Google suggest it is well worth a visit.

Get yourself an ACSI card (www.campingcard.com), Les Isles takes the card and you'll pay just 11 euros per night for two people, car and caravan (or tent or motorhome), awning and electricity. The ACSI card is accepted up until the 3rd July, and then again after the 23rd August, indicating that these are their 'low season' so you shouldn't need to book.

However, if you do want to make a reservation there is a form on the Camping Card website that you can complete in English and email to the site.

Hi

I'm there now! Weather terrible, violent thunderstorm last night, raining today.

Site good but a lot of the pitches by the river are closed off for work. Swimming pool still being worked on but we've used it and the work should be finished in a week or so. Some of the electric points are a long way from the pitches so take an extension lead. Access a bit tight but not too bad.

Nice dog walks and an easy walk into town where there are lots of good restaurants. Can recommend the one by the river, "les flots bleus" but best to book if you want a table on the terrace.

We stayed a couple of years ago nice site but it was wet and windy (September)

At the time we had an overcab motorhome and we only just got under the entrance porch which was marked at 3 mtr high.

I echo everything posted by PaulT. We arrived 29 May in bad weather. Stayed only 2 nights before heading for the sun. With ASCI card on 11E per night so can't complain too much but there is a lot of work to do to get this site ready for the season. Nice village, good walks and friendly people.
