camping in france search engines

Hi my wife has decided that she want to go to the lower parts of france and did want a lake and waterpark, but after much searching, the only one she could find that she liked , the lake was to small, so she is now looking at sites without the lake part any idea's or do you know of any search sites

cheers for all you help.

Moth,

I'd suggest these web-sites:

The Dutch ACSI on-line database of 8500+ independently reviewed European camp sites - it's free and in English - but has two possible let-downs:

a) It divides France by the administrative departements - so you may need to repeat the search in adjoining departements

b) It does list "lakes" as a primary search item

http://www.eurocampings.co.uk/en/europe/
The two French camp-groups "Les Castels" and "Sites et Paysages" are nearly always centred on a manor house with a lake
