Camping Les Mimosas, Narbonne

We are looking to stop at this site in the later part of August in between sightseeing stops to Carcassone and Millau. Has anyone been to this site - any comments would be greatly appreciated. We have two children 7 and 11.

We stayed there some years ago in our camping phase.
Nice enough site but due to position it has a tendency to get very windy - uncomfortably so in fact.
We eventually found a site a bit farther south in a Hazlenut Grove which was quite acceptable.

Thanks for your reply. We particularly wanted something near Narbonne as we wll be touring through Carcassonne and heading towards Millau. As it looks not too commercialised and mainly touring we may try it out.

Hi Lesley, We stayed at this site last September overnight on the way through to Spain. The weather was cold and windy there and although the reception area was good the actual pitches were very poor. The size of the pitches was good but there was no grass on them and the surface gave the appearance of dried mud. if it had rained while we were there we would have been walking a red mud into the caravan etc.
We would not go there again!!
Regards
Graham
