Camping Satellite Systems

Hi everyone,

The Blackpool branch of LIDL is selling these kits for £64.99.

They come in a case with a 39ccm dish amd are branded "SilverCrest".

I was thinking of buying one but I am not sure if the dish will be big enough (up to north of England).

Has anyone any experience of these kits or know if it is possible to buy a larger dish that will fit?

Thanks,

Ron.

I bought one of these systems a couple of years ago and it is excellent. I have used it both here in the North of England and in France last year.

I changed the freesat box for a second hand Sky box and bought a card so I could get CH4 and 5, but I think CH4 is now free to view and CH5 will be in thr near future.

Well worth the money.

Hi,

I've used one from maplins (just the same but cost more!) for about 3 years with no problems,

My father picked up a Lidl one secondhand which turned out to be faulty but they come with a 3year guarantee, I emailed the UK repair agent listed in manual who asked me to send it to him. It couldn't be repaired so they replaced it free of charge!! Excellent service

I have a MULTIMO with a 40cm dish it also has a twin LNB which I used it with my SKY+ box, never had any problems with it and never needed the satfinder I'd have it set up in about 10mins with a line of sight. In some bad weather a couple of months ago it was knocked over it has a small dent near the centre but the dish just kept on working as normal great reception on both the TV and sky plus signal,

I'm selling the whole lot actually. As I've switched to Virgin Media. If your interested reply to me. I'm not a trader I work for a well known train operating company in the South West.....
