Any body been to this site near Vitrac in the Dordogne? It is river side and looks convenient for hiring canoes etc. It is not cheap though so would appreciate any recommendations.

We were there last year for a week on return from Spain. Good points. By the river, hired canoes from the site, then picked us up. Brilliant day. Restaurant was good. Pool was excellent. The site is located perfectly. The main bad point at that time was a lot of young children under 5, they were very nosey first thing in morning as they stayed in the many tents, but they where quiet on night. The pitches varied in size from small to very large. I would certainly visit the area again, but maybe not that particular site. I would rate it 6/10.
