Good day

As my wife and I are just getting back into caravanning after a long absence could any or all of you good folk give us a clue, hints or tips on moderen campsite etiquette, we don't want to make fools of ourselves as soon as we pull-up on our first outing.

Thank you so much,

Les.

in what way we all had to start somewhere I think you'll find that most sites you go to your fellow campers will offer to help if need be. I go on my own with our 2 youngest and although we manage still get offers of help don't be frightened to ask

Les, it's quite simple - treat others with the respect you would wish for yourself! Sadly, it won't always be reciprocated, but you'll have done your bit.

Always a good idea to test your outfits set-up at home if you can.

Quiet neighbours are the best neighbours.

Always keep car and caravan speed to walking pace when on site, you'll have made friends before you have even stopped at your pitch.

I agree with Sadie, especially if you have an awning!!! Others will help, but just before you explode (or devorce!)

Hi. I think the very fact that you ask this questions means that you will have no problems at all, as you are obviously a conciensous (no idea if that spelt/spelled right!) person.

Enjoy touring, I hope you are liiking forward to it as much as we are.

Hello again

Thank you all so much for your advice, we will try our best to be good on site and off, can anyone tell us what are the rules as regards noise, we have been told that you should be quiet after 10pm and silent after after midnight, is this so?

Thanks Again,

Les.

i personally have never heard of silence after 12 but most sites like you to keep the noise down after 10pm and also normally work let people in after that to, unless they seem fit to break there own rule of course which we had last year.

ive heard that some of the club sites have very strict rules and wardens that are far to strict, but not being a member of these clubs its only hearsay, mike
