Hi

I'm after a campsite in Kent, nothing fancy just with showers and toilets, takes dogs.

I'm looking around the Romney Marsh/Camber (but not that big park near the sea in Camber) or just into East Sussex, Rye etc.

If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great.

Thanks.

Actually, I think Norwood Farm is a contender, anyone stopped there, I know the area.

Lisa ,

I am sure that i have replied to you before on this subject,

CC site Daleacres which is Romney marsh area , excellent dog walk area plenty of room for them to run around and meet other Dogs.

Met another kerry blue there , not at all like ours, another *****, but it was a very nasty aggresive , completely dominating the owners.

Hi George

That was the campsite I was looking for, it must be between Lydd and New Romney.

When I enquired about this site about two years ago, they sent me a document in word which was strongly worded about dogs and they said they might not accept certain breeds. I took the hump about that.

Now I've matured, I'll ring them next week. LOL!!

Thanks ever so much, now we'll be able to go and visit Doris again.

Thanks Royston, I prefer the New Romney end.

Hi Lisa, we have been using Norwood Farm for a few years now. Its a well run site for all , the owners are very welcoming and always have time to have a chat with you. The toilets are spotlessly clean. Children amuse themselves in the middle of the site and generally no problem. A lot of people go with dogs, but they have to be on leads because of the sheep on the farm , you won't be dissapointed. Alan

Hi Alan

Thanks for the reply. It was a toss up between Romney Farm and Norwood Farm.

We've gone with Romney Farm this time as I wanted to be specifically in that area.

I will probably try Norwood next time.

p.s. Is there a decent bus service from New Romney to Lydd and back again or is it still like the stagecoach?

Thanks George.

Just hope we've got enough time to visit all the places we want to go.
