Wish I could recall name, but there is a cracker close to Yeovil. Opposite caravan dealers as well.
By roundabout on main A 30 road Pub very prominent with decent size car park. Headed towards London.
Next to pub is bungalow, with 5 bar gate to driveway into campsite, with hard standings, and reasonable toilet block.
Small but clean.
Quiet site with views of orchards to back. Pub does great real food. Not microwaved, but fresh.
Try a Google Earth search, if that helps.

Can't help you with a recommendation but there are forumites stationed in the South West, I'm sure there will be more suggestions. Welcome to the forum.

Hi Donna welcome to the forum, don't know how far South West you want to go, but we have stayed here
Cofton Holidays a few times, we are only twelve miles from there but we like it, dont forget every ones taste is different but with all the facilities available I'm sure you will like it.
Big entertainment complex on site with a small local pub The Swam next door, even fishing lakes if hubby is into that sort of thing. Within easy walking distance to the beach, Dawlish Warren with little fair groud, Go Karts, and amusments.
Hope this helps.

We had 2 free nights at Cofton Country when we bought the van. Very nice site but large, however we were there during school term so much quieter. The OH enjoyed the swimming pool and i reckon the fish & chip shop was good. We also had some free nights at Dawlish and Glastonbury, so strung them all together and had a free week. :)

Hi Donna and welcome to the forum.

There are two sites in Cornwall I can recommend.
http://polmanter.co.uk/ near St Ives Cornwall. Excellent for the kids , on site pub and restaurant .

http://www.rivervalleyholidaypark.co.uk/near St Austell. Pub just around the corner and excellent facilities including indoor pool.

Good luck
