Can you buy a van cover and tow with it on

seems to me that it would avoid the dirt, dross etc picked up whilst towing

The road lights and number plate would have to be catered for and as such a kit to do this could minimise cleaning

Judging by the way truck taupaulins flutter at speed due to air turbulence, I'd be afraid of scratching the windows and paintwork if towing with a cover over the caravan. Besides, you'd also need to use a much stronger and heavier material than usual for proprietary caravan covers. Otherwise, it would be ripped to pieces by the time you arrive at your destination.

Lutz, How about a complete Car & Van cover, that way you arrive at your destination with your outfit clean and sparkling! or the other alternatve is to wrap the whole van in commercial clingfilm!!.

Sure is!, was going to post one about the new Caravans out soon that you push instead of pull, solves all those embarrissing reversing manoeuvres!, another benifit.... always clear rearward vision.
