Canopy or not?

I have always had an awing of different sizes and shapes, but am contemplating switching to a canopy now me and my wife caravan without our 20 something daughters. I am attracted by the thought of easy put up/pull down convenience of them but am unsure about the differentstyes/makes and whether I should get a fxed one to the van(Nervy about damp) or one which fixes to the awning rail. Any thoughts anyone?

Cheers

Jim

We are great fans of Isabella's Shadow; we have two and have been known to use one on each side of the van.
Whilst marketed as a 'sun canopy' it also makes a very good entrance door rain cover.
It is easy to erect and take down and as it does not live in the rail it does not inhibit the use of the rail for other awnings like canopies in a bag do.
They are light and compact enough to live in the van so are always readily to hand.
