Can't access shower light bulb

I need to change the shower light bulb in my Swift Challenger 580se. I've removed the screws around the bulb cover but it doesn't want to come off. My guess is that it's been sealed and may just need to be pulled apart, but I wanted to check before I destroy it.. Any help would be appreciated!

It should come apart, and you can change the bulb , i replaced ours with an led, it is awkward, but you can get into it
