car change

Had the old 2 litre Santa fe. Towed 1500 kg. Now have sorento with same van. No comparison towing. The sorento is rock steady and sure footed. We use CL/CSs and rally fields and the Sorento pulls out of anything- did you go to last year's national when the mud was 2 feet deep. The Santa Fe was much more comfortable though and a good solo car. The sorento is very stiff. Running costs about the same but SF has 5 year warranty, Sorie has 3.

If you're buying second hand check the clutch on the SF as some early ones has light fly wheels which couldn't stand the towing. Good test is to reverse the car up a hill and see how it copes. One or two Sorentos have had transfer box problems so ensure that is guaranteed. Test them both.
