Has anybody fittid an alarm, if so is it complicated. The alarm to be fitted is an SAS security system css11

also would it invalidate the warentee fitting it myself?

I have fitted a couple of alarms and basically just follow the instructions.

It should not invalidate the warranty if you fit as per the instructions and via an in line fuse.

Avoid scotchlocks as a source of future problems.
