Caravan Alarm

Hi All

This may sound a daft question but here goes anyway

If i remove the battery from the van will this stop the alarm from working.

After you have finished laughing, any advice would be ok

Many Thanks.

Tom

It depends on the alarm and if its got built in back up batteries

If so it would then work until they were discharged

The chances are with a caravan alarm you will need to keep the battery connected

I have a 2008 Bailey Senator and I remove the battery when the van is in storage and the alarm works. I presume, as John said, it has a built in battery.

Tom I think it depends on what make van you have .

Ours an Ace and works seperate form main batter so I believe alarm charges from hook up

I hope this helps
