Caravan Awnings on show

Hi all - first post...so here goes:

We need to buy an awning for out ABI Adventurer, however it is an unusual size and the door is at the rear of the van. This makes buying an awning a little tricky and so would like to see some erected. Unfortunately I can't seem to find anywhere local that has any on show. We live in Herts (St Albans Area) - does anyone on here know where I can see some?

Hi Spence,

Like you we are looking at purchasing an awning for our first caravan, there is lots of advice out there but my only guess being new to this is have a look at the national shows this year, I have noticed they are on until around October...I'm sure you'll find just what you're looking for!!

have a weekend away in the van, then wander around looking at what others have, pretty sure that most caravaners would be happy to let you have a look and discuss the pros and cons

If I can't find an appropriate awning, do sites allow a tent/gazebo - or will we be charged??
