I have booked online today for Christmas next year!!! Its the first time I've used the system, and the first time we'll have been on a CC Club Site despite being members for 5 years. We generally stick to CL's. Have had enough of Christmas at home with the 'out-laws' so asked the children if they wanted to go away for Christmas next year and they said yes. Problem solved, site booked!

I have no problem with members booking their holidays over the year. However, it would be courteous if people who found they were unable to attend, for any reason, let the club know and free up a pitch for other members. Yes, I am also in favour of 'non-refundable deposits'. Any deposits could be transferred to the next holiday, within that season. The 'other' club does this and it doesn't appear to cause any problems.

I posted under the uk parks about the caravan club prices for 07. If anyone else has seen such a price increase can they let me know or if it just applies to certains sites.

Thanks

Carolyn
Carolyn - 2007 fees and charges are printed in the CC magazine and IF you are a member its all there for you to compare last years pricess. THe fees as far as I can ascertain are about 2% increase. nothing like the rise in gas and electricity.
