Caravan Club ferry crossings with Camping Cheques

I have been pricing a Brittany Ferries crossing to Caen, out April and back begining July and got the following results:
Brittany Ferries website £518
The caravan club website price £418.
Camping Cheques website £341 and 3 cheques.
On the phone to the Caravan Club £327.65 including 7 cheques

How this works I dont know £90 discount and £100 worth of cheques! but thats the one I booked and it only costs a £75 deposit at this stage unlike the others.

Because it's classed as a 'package' of ferry and accommodation - and you get a special 'ITX' fare. But you're right, it's a huge reduction on the fare alone, and you wonder how they make any profit at all. A great bargain David, well done

Thanks for putting this up.
I have just booked our crossing from
Portsmouth dep 14.45 arriving Caen 21.30
Caen dep 0830 arrive Portsmouth13.15
7 Camping Cheques
Total Price £333.65

Glad to see that, strange the price has altered slightly already. Do you know that the municipal site Les Pommiers is less than a mile away and will be open at that time of night? Its not great but you dont need to unhitch and its very convenient

The slight difference in the price may due to the lenght of the Caravan ours comes into the 7-7.5m saying that £7 is not really worth worrying about I am still making a big saving.
We used Les Pommiers this year both going and coming back.
