caravan cover? To buy or not to Buy?

Advice as to good ones or bad ones/points to look for?

Appears to be a wide variation in pricing but little obvious -to my untrained eye-difference between them.

To those of you who have already helped with my previous and plentiful questions-thank you.

All advice/guidance is greatly appreciated by this novice.

Hi Alison, we had the same to buy or not ot buy, however advised that we don't really need it unless under trees, our caravan parked in our driveway, wish i had bought a cover now ! as it has taken a battering with the bad weather and now found light dampness. It is an old caravan however has been in great shape.

I did consider the purchase of a "breathable" cover but was advised not to as the long term consequence is that it could still harbour humidity within the van. Also in a wind the chaffing of the material against the plastic window could cause unsightly scratches to the window. The question therefore is who do you listen to and believe? It could be an expensive learning exercise.

Hi Alison

I had the same problem, to buy or not buy I bought its great you get soft material to cover your windows so they do not get scratched but it needs two to put it on & no wind

thanks for your thoughts. Our storage is under trees so am inclined to cover.

The point about the windows is a good one-something soft..to drape over the window-how do you attach/hang it?
