Have a look at the Maypole covers. I have 2 made to measure covers for various vans over the last 15 years but I am very happy with the Maypole cover that I have used on my last van and also on my current van, same one fitted both. About a third of the price of made to measure but as good quality as the best of the made to measure that I have used.

Thank you for your help HenryB, I have had my van from new and Swift did not recommend a cover, now the front and rear panel have become dull. I have decided on a quick polish and to try an off the shelf cover cover but was worried in case I had condensation problems as the van is in storage and not so easy to check or keep clean.

We have a Maypole cover, and for three years it covered our caravan outside on a windy hill. It kept it perfectly clean, and is breathable, so no problems with condensation. Rain doesn't get through and when you unpack the van it's as clean as when it went away! There are no scuffs or scratches on the paintwork, and the straps, are still tensionable and hold the cover in place. There are zips on two corners, so it's possible to get into the van by just undoing one zip and loosening, but not removing, one strap. There are just a few areas where there are 'sharp edges' on the van where we've had to reinforce the cover to stop it being worn, but otherwise it's still perfect and still keeping the van clean - now inside a barn, so protects it from dust and bird poo!

I had a cover for the previous caravan and although it was a very good fit (made to measure) it was quite difficult to put on the caravan in anything other than flat calm. I was aslo concenred about the inevitable movement between cover and the surface of the windows and indeed did find some slight abraision eventually.
The Status was no problem. The top removes fairly simply and you should have a plug to fit the hole in the roof - aprt of the kit supplied with it.

For the replacement van I decided that the cost and trouble were not justified, and sold the cover with the van. Since then my solution to exposing the van to the worst of the British winter has been to take it to Spain.
