Caravan door barrel

My door barrel is now pulling out the door when I go to lock it
I've a crystal moora caravan and I am not sure if they are easy to replace orre these universal

Most caravans used the same type of lock although I am not familiar with that model. I have replaced the lock on a Coachman possibly of about the same age and it was straight forward but cannot say if yours is the same.
If you can establish the make and model I would look on line and see if you can find another. If not photograph it and take the photo to a dealer to see if they could match it.

From a random Morea advertised on line I think you have a caraloc so not being sure what is broken from your post you can either buy a complete replacement or just the lock barrel with keys, and if you see the WD 3 digit code on your key you may be able to replace with the same code which avoids needing different keys for lockers and the main door. There is also a number of videos so try ‘ a google search like ‘replacing a caravan caraloc’ and see if you find what you need.

Hi Rob thanks for the reply the barrel is broken so it is a new barrell I need
The key has two letters followed by three numbers
Where could I purchase a barrel for this van

If it is a Caralock then these are widely available on Amazon or EBay or caravan dealers online or locally. If you add high security to your search these are also available as replacements at about £45 as opposed to around £19 - £12 for a straight replacement

Hi audiorob I have tried to Google the model number of the key and barrell
But cannot find this version

Apparently Moorland Leisure in Stoke on Trent used to import them and may be able to advise, also the Chateau vans imported and sold by Lunar were similar and it seems they were sold under the Beyerland brand in Europe. Where would we be without google?
Otherwise can you post a pic of the whole lock to see if that can be identified?

Had a random email from A & L Leisure today about stock of HARTAL lock barrels which look just like your photos and they will match keys to your set too!

I have now purchased the barrel and it works fine the only issue is the rubber seal has eroded can these be purchased or do they come as a complete mechanism
