I recently had my caravan broken into. There was no damage inside but the door surround (Aluminium) has been bent in several places where the thief has attempted to prise open the door.
I was quoted a ridiculously high price for a complete door and frame which with fitting and several metres of transfer (only available in long lengths ) would come to over £1000.
The Caravan is an ACE AWARD NORTHSTAR made by Swift group. Their polite answer was to contact a local dealer.
The aluminium extrusion is probably by a sub supplier. Could you please tell me who supplies manufacturers with aluminium door frames.
Also the doors on current Swift vans all look very similar. Could you also tell me if a small number of frames will fit a lot of models.
