hi guys..looking for a wee bit of help.striped the gas heater in my van as the piezo did not work.I have fixed that now when the fire is on gas the piezo sparks all the time unless I take the batter out (aa size)I dont remember it sparking all the time..how do I fix this?

Hi, if the fires over 10-12yrs old and particularly if it keeps sparking but changes sound after the flame is lit? then check one of the wires, (brown), from the gas valve to ignition module is earthed to the base plate under a tiny metal clamp near the gas valve end.
If later then the earth connection is within the gas valve and unlikely to be the problem, check all connections otherwise its a faulty ignition module. Either replace or add a switch.
