A dealer near us regularly promotes 'huge' discounts off existing stock, this only works for the buyer without a trade in, and helps the dealer move stock. if you have a trade in they offer a hugely discounted trade in.

Regarding keeping your existing van , the weather will be the same for you whatever the age of your van

Some dealers, of cars, caravans and furniture!, like to inflate prices so that they can regularly offer big discounts - but in the case of cars and caravans, it's the cost of change that matters.
