CARAVAN QUALITY ADVICE.

In days of old when I was "nowt but a lad" I could tell a quality caravan with ease. Sadly, after a long period of abstinence from the rally field I am finding it very difficult to differentiate between manufactures, or, even models with the same layout in their different price ranges.

For reports on cars I can look up the make and model in the JD Power Customer Satisfaction Survey, etc. Is there such an equivalent publication for new caravans? Finally, is there a kind soul who might offer me some sound advice in the absence of such reports?

Thank you for your consideration to this request.

Burtie.

Just look for the words, 'Made In Germany' ;)
But I prefer "Made in Japan" when it comes to luxury cars.....seriously now, many thanks to all for the advice - we will check the German vans out at the NEC. Finally....and the dealers?

Alan do not forget German Fendt caravans.

We would not buy anything but German caravans.. Trevor... so I have to agree with the ones who have posted that.

Make sure you say Hi when you pass our stand 4087A if you are coming to the NEC in October.

That goes for anyone else.

If you are staying at the Chapel Lane Caravan Club site come and say hi in the evening ( not too late though! ) as I expect we will be the only Fendt caravan there and we are on hard standing this year we should be found quite easily.

Come and have some German snaps as we always carry some with us!! Joyce

Many, many thanks to those who replied, only one observation - of the German vans we have seen so far the "Dragon" has one comment, do they produce a wood finish in any other colour than "orange"?
