Caravan Roof Leaks

I have an old Lynton caravan that has got a leak in one of the cupboards, on inspection it is coming from the roof, the problem is the roof is in sections which seem to be crimped and not sealed with the usual alloy trim. I am at a loss as to how I can seal this, has anyone any ideas please

Susan. please accept my apologies. If you go to a caravan dealer/accessory shop you should be able to obtain either a type of mastic sealant or silicone sealant, they should be able to advise. The hardest task is to establish where the leak stems from then your half way there. I hope you get it sorted, regards Chloe

As i said before, if you type the word "leaking" in the ' message' box in the forum search facility and you will find some advice on sealants etc.

The first part of my message was meant to be taken light heartedly, my apologies also for having a sense of humour,

Gavin.
