Hi All,

Just got my 2005 Bailey Senator Arizona serviced at my local dealer. No problems were found, but a very hefty £238 was handed over for the service.A bit steep???Your thoughts are welcome.

Thanks for that,Discover? does that now include the Baron group? as they would be a choice for next year.

Speaking to fitter they have special offers this time to keep fitters busy it was a good service they took over Barrons last year.

Its worth looking at it next year.

Thanks everyone,I'll shop around next year, the vans out of warranty now,so i'm not too concerned with dealership loyalty.

Some servicing items can be left out if the caravan is out of warranty but never those that affect roadworthiness and safety. At least the brakes and the integrity of the gas system should always be seen to regularly.

To add to what Luyz has said, you will probably find that annual service at an approved workshop or dealer is a requirement for insurance particularly for Continental use.

I'm curious to know why a mobile service is cheaper if being done by the same dealer. Surly he has to factor in traveling costs for the fitter and van milage charges.
