Hi All, do anybody know any site by the river? Don't mind if it the CC Club or the Campimg Club and any CL site as well, but not commercial one please no more than 200 mile from Cambridge,

You could try Ferry Meadows CC site at Peterborough by the Nene,

I haven`t stayed here, because I live in the area, but The Orchards at Hubberts Bridge near Boston comes highly recommended

Cobleland in Trossachs is a real delight right beside a river.

Trevor, C&CC site at Devizes is right next to Kennet and Avon Canal with it's 20 or more locks between calne and Devizes. A great pub a few hundred yards away. Ray

Hi trevor try Lucksall caravan in Mordiford its about 5 miles from Hereford town centre ,u can book a riverside pitch ,i was there last week they do a special deal

Closest and best in my opinion would be Houghton Mill, Houghton near St. Ives Cambs. It a NT site run by CC.

you could also try 2 Sites by Symonds Yat Rock the best one is Sterrets mainly a static park ,but they have 8 touring pitches
