Caravan site close to Ingliston

Hopefully going to the Highland Show towards the end of June in Ingliston. Any ideas on caravan sites close by?

The Caravan Club one is pretty close but I would expect it to be pretty well fully booked.

the cc sites at balbirnie park in Markinch (fife) and the woods at stirling are only about a 40 min. journey from Ingleston there are also some good sites on the east side of the city such as monks muir and thurston manor

Hi the best site for you is Lin water caravan park 5mins from the show ground (www.linwater.co.uk) Email linwater@supernet>com first class site. it is near east calder.

one other thought, there is a site just outside Linlithgow called Beecraigs Country Park there is a regular bus service from linlithgow (38 service) to Edinburgh which will drop you outside the show ground Every 20 mins. this would save you from the traffic going to Ingleston which is a nightmare but be warned I could be your bus driver
