Caravan sites around Melbourne/Ashby

Anyone know and recommend a nice site with hook up close to Melbourne Derbyshire please.

I have heard the CC club site at Elvaston is not so good these days.

we have a nice cl in ashby called ingles hills farm . there is also a caravan and camping site at conkers now in moira swadlincote.hope this helps.

Just come back from hols. We cut short our stay on the C&CC site at Conkers after deciding it was not to our liking and rather expensive for OAPs. We did, however, find purely bt accident a new CC c/l just outside Melbourne called Dovesite on the Common Melbourne. It was superb with views across Staunton Harold reservoir and we had it all to ourselves. The site is so new it is not yet listed. The owner says it should be on the CC website any day now. Beware it is close to East Midlands airport so if aircraft noise bothers you, don't go.
