Hello there, could someone tell me of any sites in Scotland where I can launch a small sailing dinghy, straight from the site. thank you
 
Forestry Commission site and the C&CC site at the east of Loch Lomond. You could also look at North Ledaig (Oban) affiliated CC site, which is right on the edge of the loch.

Hello allan,

cc site New England Bay (south of Stranraer)which is on the shore of Luce Bay, which give a sheltered shoreline. The site has the usual high standards associated with all CC sites., there is a place for people who prefer to use tents, access to the beach is a mere stones throw away, the constant sea breezes kept the midges away, we spent a very enjoyable ten nights there. Quite a few people using the site had brought there own boats for fishing direct from the beach.The beach is sandy with small black pebbles.
