Nice to see that it is shredded cardboard and not plastic bubble wrap.

We've found that even some of that shredded cardboard can have a plastic content. That which doesn't goes into the compost bin or recycling bin.

i think that shredded cardboard is use a lot it came in my new hoover i think it to stop it moving in transit

This packing is needed to stop the item moving when in transit. It probably would not damage easily but if an item of this weight was allowed to move the carrier would probably not accept it.
