Caravan Sticker Decal Removal

Hi - we have an 08 Bailey Ranger and like most that I see the Ranger sticker/decal above the front window has faded and split. I have purchased a new one from Bailey for £46! But before I can put it on I need advice on how to remove the original sticker and glue residue. Any ideas?

The sticky stuff remover removed the residue left when i replace mine and they had been on since 2000, what i would say though is place a strip of masking tape across the bottom of the decal & up one side right on the very edge, you can then mark it with a pencil to use as a reference mark and leave it there whilst you remove the old one and then put the new one back on in the same place 😉

Thanks for the tips. I'll buy that sticky stuff remover & good idea to use tape to mark out where new sticker should go.

One of the best things for removing a sticky residue is believe it or not, Mayonaise. Wifey told me that one, and it does actually work.
