We got a replacement lid in 3 weeks.From that we take it is a common problem
I think the most common problem is that the majority of caravanners are not DIY folk and things like the hob lids come loose. As a caravanner or Motor homer you have to keep a watch on everything, cupboard doors Hob lids, water hose seals, window seals, a yearly service is just not enough to keep going.

I recall a long time ago on here one annual task discussed was the use of the faithful screw driver. To this day once or twice a year I spend some time checking all screws. They do come loose😥😥

We have paid the bill for the cooker replacement lid got a very nice surprise how much it cost my wife says the surplus will pay for our next break .

That’s good outcome. For interest how much were you charged for a custom made lid?

Next break coming up is at Boston and i have been told there is a pub 10 mins away so a meal and drink :beermug:
You are like a politician, How much did the cooker lid cost and then the labour cost.
