Caravan Towing Course

Hi my son has just started caravaning and was wanting to take one of those towing courses that show you how to reverse, handel the caravan etc. He lives near Manchester so just wondering if anyone knows anywhere in the Lancashire area who do these. Many Thanks!

Either go on the Caravan Club web site or better still give them a ring.My wife had to travel for her course but it was well worth it .

Caravan Club course is invaluable and must do for anyone starting off or with little trailer towing experience.

I went on a one-day Camping & Caravan Club Course last September. I live near Manchester and I attended the day course at Lancaster although there is (or was) a nearer venue at the Velodrome in Manchester.

I didn't own a van at the time (I have just bought my first van this week!)but I thought preparation was going to be useful & indeed it was. I put my training into effect on arrival at home last Friday with my new caravan, though I must admit I was very rusty. I guess there is no substitute for actual practical experience but nevertheless it was a very useful exercise.
